Rosario Isabel Dawson (born May 9th, 1979)[3] is an American producer and actress. In 1995 she made her debut in a feature film by starring in the independent film Kids. Her later film roles include He Got Game (1998), Josie and the Pussycats (2001), Men in Black II (2002), Rent (2005), Sin City (2005), Clerks II (2006), Death Proof (2007), Seven Pounds (2008), Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief (2010), Unstoppable (2010), Zookeeper (2011), Trance (2013), Top Five (2014) and Zombieland: Double Tap (2019). Dawson also voices for Warner Bros./DC Comics as well as ViacomCBS Nickelodeon's Nickelodeon unit. As part of her character in Rent, Dawson was awarded the Satellite Award in Best Supporting Actress Motion Picture. And for Top Five, Dawson was nominated to the Critics' Choice Movie Award in the category of Best Actress in Comedy. Dawson was born on the 9th of May, 1979 in New York City. Isabel Celeste is her mother and is of Afro-Cuban heritage. Isabel was just 16 when Rosario was born. She did not marry Rosario's father, Patrick C. Harris. Rosario was a girl of her mothers who married Greg Dawson (a construction worker). Dawson is four years younger than Clay. Clay is Dawson's half-brother. Dawson is also well-known for her comic-book roles, including a variety of adaptations. The actress was Ahsoka Tano's character on The Mandalorian's second series in 2020. She'll also play the lead role in the Disney+ original series Ahsoka. She also has a recurring role in the Dwayne Johnson autobiographical comedy series Young Rock in 2021.
